EnviroConscious Packaging Solutions:
Making a Difference for Our Clients and the Environment

The ADS Group has announced the launch of a new line of green CD and DVD packaging solutions. The line, which will be marketed under the name EnviroConscious Packaging Solutions, is available immediately.

"We've developed these environmentally conscious solutions in response to our customers' demands," said Michael Hardwick, CEO of The ADS Group. "Our green packaging will provide clients with quality packaging solutions that perform as well as their counterpart. By choosing these options clients leave a smaller carbon footprint on the environment."

The ADS Group recently began working with clients interested in sustainable packaging options to identify the best green option for their projects. As a result, the company launched EnviroConscious Packaging Solutions that offers clients green alternatives in paper, inks and coatings, as well as in packaging options. Client options include:

  • Recycled paper products that are renewable, recyclable and biodegradable
  • Vegetable oil-based inks and water-based coatings
  • CD/DVD trays made from recyclable paperboard or plant

“At the end of the day, we’re looking to replace packaging options our green clients find least pleasing with solutions made from renewable and recyclable resources,” said Hardwick.

The ADS Group is also working to reduce its own impact on the environment within its Plymouth facility. To save energy the company has:

  • Invested in new state-of-the-art, energy-efficient mastering, replication and printing equipment.
  • Reduced material waste through various processes and manufacturing efficiency initiatives.
  • Implemented a recycling program for all elements of scrap, including plastic and metal by-products from manufacturing and paper waste.
  • Committed to continuously reduce energy consumption and raw material waste.
